I already have the corba brake kit on my 89gt. Im running 98 corba rims.17x8 The axles with the kit are 1.in longer than stock. I tried to run 275's on the rear but they rub. My question is can i just swamp the axles from the Lin. markVII. Will this give me the room to run my 275's ( i dont want to swamp rearend i have a aubron pro posi with 3:55. n the car.) Thanks Jamie

I have a question. I already have the corba brake kit on my 89gt. Fox struts will work with this, but you need to open up the mounting holes a bit more. I reflared the hard lines for my brakes, and used the 99-04 brake hoses on my fox, as they are a bit longer. You will need to adjust your tie rod ends out several turns to make the car drive straight enough to get to the alignment shop! I swapped the complete rearend for a disc brake unit from any 80's-90's Lincoln Continental. If you are lucky, you will find one with a 3:55 trac loc....they are rare, but out there! Otherwise, it will be 3:23 gears and you may have to do a gear swap at a later date, or just use brake parts on your mustang rearend. I also prefer a master cylinder from the same Lincoln, but your stock mustang one has plenty of capacity to use as is, or you could add an adjustable proportioning valve to it.

I have done this swap on Fox Mustangs several times, and I have used the following parts:
99-04 V6 mustang spindles and brakes. Please help! I also am 100% sure fox 5.0 and t bird mark vii all have 8.8 rear ends. Am I mistaken? I was going to swap out rear end from a 88 mark vii with disk brakes but only down fall is the high gear, I beleave it's 323. Also using the front roters from the same car. So other than the center cap not fitting what else should I look for? Are there any other options/

Will this work on a 85 t bird as well or what will?
