Following the spirit of other aviation themes such as the Roush P-51 Mustang, the latest one-off S197 Ford Mustang is another aviation-inspired racecraft that is sure to put a grin on any grounded pilot’s face.  With a number of upgrades straight from the Ford Racing catalog, this highly-decorated Mustang will definitely be a crowd pleaser at AirVenture 2008.  The touches applied directly by the men & women at Ford bring this very crisp pony car up to the 400 horsepower mark.  A Whipple supercharger, cold air intake, the FRPP Handling Pack, and a hi-flow tuned exhaust all make the magic happen for this special edition Ford Mustang.  In addition to the go, this Ford Mustang is also about show.  A red-accented satin silver coat wraps around a nicely offset black colored hood and is capped off by a glass roof which exhibits a majestic Air Force Star.  Out back, the gas cap also gets the AF Star treatment.
