Keeping this week’s East Coast theme cruising on, we wanted to tell you about a slick Ford Mustang event to be held at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA.  Over the past couple of years, the organizers of the event have been able to land participating Mustang racers on the pavement at Daytona International Speedway (2007) and Rockingham Speedway & Dragway (2008).  Everyone is ultra-pumped this year to roll onto the world-class VIR and tear up some tires!  In addition to the Mustang racing action, there will be a myriad of other activities to keep everyone in the family occupied & having a great time.  Keep reading to get the details in the Press Release.

SUPER STANG FEST RACES INTO 2009 WITH NEW VENUE AND EVENTS

Super Stang Fest, the premier Mustang event on the eastern seaboard, has been a huge success in both 2007 and 2008.   SSF 07 was held in Daytona Beach, FL, with the main event show in the infield of the Daytona International Speedway;  Mustang enthusiasts from all areas of the country attended the event.  SSF 08 was held at the historic Rockingham Speedway and Dragway; this event once again proved to be a exciting Mustang event and enabled enthusiasts to drive on the high banks of one of NASCAR’s most historic tracks.

To build on the success of SSF 07 and 08, Super Stang Fest 2009 has moved to a more centrally located and better suited venue at VIRginia International Raceway. VIR is a world class 3.27 mile road course and is located in Alton, VA.  The new location has enabled Super Stang Fest 2009 to expand the festival with multiple venues.  Mustang enthusiasts will be thrilled with the on track action and a awed with the Mustang car show.  VIR offers not only a world class road course but also on track lodging, camping, skeet shooting, and even a very professional Karting track.  As always, there will be multiple top named sponsors and vendors on site as well as some special add-ons to be announced in the coming days. In addition, there will be multiple media outlets there to cover the event.

Super Stang Fest has joined forces with the SVT Cobra Mustang Club to host this event and it will be one you will not want to miss! If you thought the previous SSF events had a lot to offer, you haven’t seen anything yet! As you know, we always offer a special opportunity to the first 100 registrants and we will continue that trend again this year!
