We’ve got to keep the rumor mill crankin’, right?  We all saw and drooled over the Ford Racing BOSS 302R from late last year.  We have witnessed the return of the legendary 5.0 Mustang.  Now, we have caught wind of some continued buzz surrounding the return of a street-trimmed BOSS Mustang.  Mark Fields, Ford President of the Americas, recently dropped a hint/clue/seed/tale that the BOSS moniker could make its way back to production.

“We did the Bullitt, we did a Mach 1, we did the C/S.  I can’t tell you what the next special edition Mustang will be, but I can give you a hint.”

Shortly after his teaser lines, a 1970 BOSS 302 Mustang thundered across the hosting dealership stage and Fields remarked, “Is that a subtle enough hint?”

Let’s hope so, Mark.  Let’s hope so.
