Hot Rod pits Shelby Snake vs Shelby Cobra


What do you get when you take two Shelby creations, tons of horsepower, favorable power-weight ratios, and an open track?  Duh.  Smiles for miles!  The editorial staff over at Hot Rod magazine was able to pair up the 2011 Shelby Super Snake Ford Mustang against a heart-stopping 427 Shelby Cobra in order to see just which car has the stones to best the other.  The two lucky pilots, Rob Kinnan from Hot Rod & Gary Patterson from Shelby American, set out on the road course & drag strip to see just what these cars had to bring to the table.  So just which car ended up with the big W?  Keep going to find out…

    The Super Snake is safer, faster, better handling and won’t muss your girlfriends’ hair as much. The Cobra sings the song of the sausage creature. obvious win
