With the closure of the dual-Boss 302 Ford Mustang giveaway on July 4th, there lies a lucky finalist who has the keys to a 1969 Boss 302 Mustang as well as a 2012 Patriot Edition Boss 302 Mustang.  24 year old Thomas Barker from Effingham, IL is the man of the hour for this exciting national sweepstakes.  This Sunday, August 7, Barker will receive the keys to the only pair of matching first and second generation Boss 302 Mustangs in the world.  Pretty cool feat, indeed!

Barker’s treasures-to-be start with a fully-restored 1969 Boss 302 Mustang coated with a beautiful Calypso Coral coat, has a 4-speed, and a 3.91:1 rear axle.  It’s one of only 46 ever built with this exact configurations and even (now) bears the signature of racing icon Parnelli Jones.

The other side of his garage will be filled by the 2012 Patriot Edition Boss 302 Mustang we told you about recently.  Set to honor the US Armed Services, it’s the only 2012 Boss 302 Mustang (ever) to be finished in the same Calypso Coral hue like its grandaddy.

After the core was covered from the 2011 Mustang Dream Giveaway, the net proceeds went onward to benefit the fine Americans serving in the Armed Forces, returning home with life-debilitating injuries not officially covered by the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
