Ford, Barrett-Jackson, and Shelby Automobiles have teamed up for the release of a hundred 2008 Barrett-Jackson Shelby GT Ford Mustangs. The limited edition S197 Shelby GT coupes and convertibles are going to be released throughout Arizona’s regional Ford dealerships. Based upon a one-off Shelby GT recently debuted at recent Arizona Auto Show, this Ford Mustang will tag at $39,000, with proceeds of $250 per car flowing to charity (Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation).
The Arizona and Las Vegas Ford dealers have supported me over the years, which is why Shelby Automobiles joined with Barrett-Jackson and Ford Motor Company to create a limited edition car just for their customers. --Carroll Shelby The Ford Racing Technology powerplant in the Arizona Shelby GT puts out 319 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque, thanks to the addition of a free-flowing X-pipe exhaust setup. Also included is a Hurst short-throw shifter, the Ford Racing Handling Pack, strut tower brace, a Shelby Cobra hood scoop, LeMans hood, an all black interior, and a 3.55:1 rear gear. |
