In light of the 45^th Anniversary (April 2009) of the Ford Mustang, there will be a tremendous cruise across the United States to commemorate the event.  After beginning in Las Vegas, NV, the show will finish up in Birmingham, AL, with closing events set at Barber Motorsports Park on April 16, 2009 and will continue on for three days, with as many as 6000 Ford Mustangs on site for the show & shine, track events, and caravan-style cruise.

The Ford Mustang convoy will depart and head east across America’s heartland, picking up participants the whole way, and will finally end in Birmingham, AL.  The 5 day trip will have the Ford Mustang owners pounding the pavement amidst all the wonderful scenery on the old Route 66.  The whole journey will involve several stop-offs, gatherings, and other adventures the entire way.
