This simple showroom image is all we have to go on, but if Saleen & Co get their way, they'll soon have a complete aftermarket replacement for the S197 Ford Mustang and its obscured stock roof.  This fully-functional power glass roof seen at the New York International Auto Show was a result of Saleen's partnership with Mustang tweaker ASC.  It's pretty evident in the photo that no detail was spared and cast aside, as the roof slides back and pulls over the rear window.

Only limited details are available at this point, but we are sure we'll be seeing official intel and more images released when the strike out to the market comes along.  Until then, we have to be pleased with the idea the S197 Ford Mustang will get a powered glass roof.  Maybe it was inspiration from the glassback we've all been accustomed to seeing?  Tough to tell.  Maybe Ford will hop on board for 2010 and surprise us all.
