Fans of supercharged Ford Mustangs are going to love what All-American SuperCars has in store for them. They have teamed up with Vortech Engineering to create a fantastically flavored Ford Mustang GT, with the first V-Power system ever. This car's powerplant was originally unveiled at the 2006 SEMA show and now, it has become a reality.
The all-new supercharger system for the Ford Mustang GT features the Si-Trim compressor for extremely high efficiency throughout the entire RPM range. An air to water charge cooler also has 48% additional surface area to account for the increased air flow this unit brings. Additionally, this new design is able to run a conservative tune, say on 91 octane, and produces 485 hp at the flywheel. Turn up the juice and fuel the engine with 93 octane fuel on the same tune, and the car produces up to 500 hp.
The Si-Trim supercharger system (V-power) comes as a complete kit, with everything conceivable required for the installation. If the kit is installed by an authorized installer, Vortech backs up the unit with a 36 month, 36,000 mile limited drivetrain warranty. Not a bad offering at all!
So go on, take a good luck at this new Vortech supercharger designed to bolster the power in the 2005 - 2008 S197 Ford Mustang GT--we know we will. |
