A new commercial featuring one of the most popular rental cars to ever
grace a Hertz showroom has been released by Ford. The commercial
features a Mustang GT-H
being chased through downtown streets by a lone police car. The Mustang
spins out and stops and we find that two police officers are having fun
recreating their own chase scene and are eager to switch places and try
again. The commercial is right in time for the launch of the new Shelby GT that Ford is releasing with the same power and options as the before rental only GT-H. |

UPDATED - VIDEO ADDED Dropping what could be several hints at the next generation Ford Mustang, Fabrizio Giugiaro (styling Director of Italdesign -- Giugiaro S.P.A.) has released his own flavor of the legendary pony car. "When we saw the new Mustang, we knew two things: It was the best we'd seen since the original, and we had to get our hands on one. We still believe it's important to show the automotive world pure exercises in style that interpret key models reflecting the history and image of important brands." |

The latest Bold Move from Ford involves a set of NASCAR drivers and the headlining Shelby GT500 Mustang. Ford invited Jamie McMurray, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, and Greg Biffle
to come tear up a brand new test track for a promotional run to see
just how the GT500 measures up, with pro drivers on
a closed course. The energy this car has is apparent when one of the
drivers refers to the car as a "race car" because it performed so well on the course. Check out the video for yourself and see what all the excitement is about! |

The ROUSH Reactor Mustang made its official debut at the ROUSH booth during the 2006 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This 1967 Ford Mustang fastback required over 2000 man-hours to complete and every detail is noteworthy and this car, were it 2-dimensional, could be framed art. A spectacular dark metallic green coat of paint adorns this vehicle owned by Doug Hoppe of Sioux City, Iowa, and was build by Ringbrothers to fight for best of show in the 2007 Good Guys Street Machine of the Year award. |

The black-gold colored Obsidian CoupeR didn't make it to the showroom floor inside SEMA, but certainly proved that too much is not enough while on exhibit outdoors. Poised just outside the main doors to the exhibition hall with no other cars around, the CoupeR made its mark and did it well with its 900hp, twin-supercharged engine and extremely aggressive custom appliqué. This 1967 Ford Mustang drew in the crowd by emitting notable style and function. |

As if the most powerful production Ford Mustang
doesn't have enough power straight from the factory, Jack Roush's
aftermarket company, ROUSH Performance, has laid out some opportunity
to help quench the insatiable desire for more power. Of course, the
ROUSHcharger blower setup is one solution, but there are some less
aggressive options offered for slightly milder applications. The
options are described in detail below, so take a closer look at what
Jack's got in store for us...well, at least those of us lucky enough to
have a Shelby GT500 in the stable. |
