Ford has planned the California Special to be next in line for production, settling the question of which feature edition Mustang would be produced after the GT500. Now available this week are the 2007 Model year order guides from Ford on the Mustang and Shelby GT500.  For the Mustang, most noted is 2 new colors.  Currently no news on any horsepower improvements.  In the 2007 Shelby GT500 guide, all the details and options are listed for your review.  One dealership notes they have 86 people on a named list for the new Shelby, but they are maybe, and I stress maybe, getting 10.  If you are not on a good list, placed your order already, or have friends in high places, I doubt you will be getting one.  It's good to dream anyway.. check out the order guides.
