2005 MUSTANG MAXGRIP 8-RIB UPGRADE

Vortech Engineering, LLC has introduced a new 8-rib drive system upgrade for the 2005 Mustang GT.

The addition of the 8-rib drive will provide maximum belt traction for those looking for high horsepower applications. The Maxgrip upgrade maintains the factory automatic drive belt tensioner and includes a provision to tension the belt manually for high boost and racing applications. This system is compatible with all Vortech Supercharging Systems for the 2005 Mustang GT. The installation requires an OEM alternator removal tool and custom computer tuning if changing supercharger drive pulley diameter.

Included in the system are a 3.47? 8-rib supercharger pulley and associated serpentine belt; OEM quality A/C, power steering, alternator, idler and crank damper pulleys; and all necessary hardware and precision machined spacers.? Suggested retail price is $595.95.
