Just hours ago, NBC held a press conference to officially announce the return of the epic Knight Rider TV show back to the network.  The Ford Mustang GT500KR is cast as the next KITT, Michael Knight’s faithful crime-fighting companion car.  In case you were wondering, David Hasselhoff is going to return to play the lead role once again.  Step in and check out a few of the shots of the next-gen KITT!

As if the StangNet/CDC Glassback GT500 wasn't enough, the Ford Mustang designers in Dearborn have decided to make it a widespread phenomenon.  That's correct--the new Mustang will be offered with a $2000 glass roof option, situating the glass-laden pony between the cost of a coupe and a convertible.  Like what you see?  Keep reading and check out the images inside!

Ford, Barrett-Jackson, and Shelby Automobiles have teamed up for the release of a hundred 2008 Barrett-Jackson Shelby GT Ford Mustangs.  The limited edition S197 Shelby GT coupes and convertibles are going to be released throughout Arizona’s regional Ford dealerships.  Based upon a one-off Shelby GT recently debuted at recent Arizona Auto Show, this Ford Mustang will tag at $39,000, with proceeds of $250 per car flowing to charity (Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation).

 Sixty-five years ago, there was a Mustang that served as a crucial tool in the liberation of Allied territory during World War II.  The P-51 Mustang fighter plane was an aviator’s dream with its speed, power, and prowess in battle.  Today, the P-51 moniker has been resurrected by Roush Performance, with the release of the P-51A Ford Mustang.  This S197 Ford Mustang was just unveiled this week at the 2007 SEMA show and it left chills in those who knew the name before the pony car came to be.
