Page 1 of 2 There is certainly one more happy classic Ford
Mustang owner in North Carolina
these days. Army Captain John Pelikan
had just returned from a fifteen month deployment in Afghanistan and
arrived to be greeted by his loving family. Amidst all the familial
updates, this honorable Veteran's mother,
Tamera, mentioned that his 1968 Ford Mustang was in the shop, having the
radiator repaired. Little did he know,
there was much more to the story than a simple fix.

During Pelikans deployment, several family members and
friends had pooled their resources together and put his Mustang in an
automobile restoration shop to have it restored to glory
and then some.
Multiple family members gathered at his parents home, just a few miles away
for Johns homecoming. As he moved
onto the back porch of the house, it was no doubt a sense of pure elation, as
the honorable Army Captain cast his eyes upon a sexy black 1968 Ford Mustang
reflecting the dawning sun, parked beneath a tall pine.
