With recent speculation about a 5.0 liter Ford Mustang, there are many seeking to get ahead of the curve by finding out how to make it happen, here and now.  Until Ford decides whether or not to make a move in the future, we will have to rely on the aftermarket players to get it done.  Saleen, Inc. has recently elected to release its high performance 302 cubic inch premium crate engines for sale via its Speedlab Aftermarket Division.  In either a long block or short block configuration, this installation is sure to appease the need for power held by many engine builders and torque enthusiasts.

This same 302ci powerplant is found in the Parnelli Jones Edition Ford Mustang, the Heritage Series, and the new 25^th Anniversary Sterling Edition.
