Do you have Zone alarm or another firewall? Pop up blockers will also stop animations. If zone alarm, go to privacy tab, main on the top tab and shut off pop up blocker. Worked for me!

in imageready?

go to window > animation and you'll see the animation window pop up and then click on the little arrow on the top right of it and select make frames from layers. should be good then.

trash all the little frames in the animation so there are none left and do it again. that should work.

you can resize the image to be smaller, and also you can click on the optomized tab on the image window and go and limit the number of colors and so on.
