The bit that is missing here is that unless your computer is hosting webpages (which it probably isn't) you can't just put:
Code:
[img]c:\pictures\mystang.jpg[/img]
You actually have to have the pictures on a webserver like snapfish or something.

Then you put the address of the picture:

[img]htttp://www.snapfish.com/94blkgt/mystang.jpg[/img]

The easiest possible way to post pics is www.imageshack.us

1) Hit the "Host It!" button and browse for your pic

2) imageshack generates some links, highlight what you want, and then you Control + C to copy:

Click the image to open in full size.

3) Type Control + V to paste the address into your post. Use direct links to show your image on the screen full-sized; use thumbnails for really big file sizes (100k+) so our 56k brethren don't have to wait forever.

What is a URL
Sorry, pardon my ignorance (im getting pretty up there in age. What is a URL? I have my Mustang pics here on my desktop. But, how do I utilize the URL? I would like to try to post pics.

I would appreciate any help.
