Again, they probably use the same subcontractor. Auto companies don't waste their time on nickel and dime stuff like switches and vents. They buy them from people that do switches and vents. They are even moving to purchasing complete dash modules from suppliers.
Also, the switches in the center stack are similar, but they are not the same. There are also a number of cars out there using that style of vent now.
