Question Is the base vortech kit any good?

I've got a 91 lx notch. I've got a lot of money into it and the guy who had it before me put a lot of money into it. I want to supercharge it, but im going to college at the end of this semester, so I don't want to spend a lot of money. Plus, the motors all stock save for 24# injectors, 65mm TB and EGR plate, 75mm MAF, mac shorties, o/r h-pipe, and flows., along with new flywheel, centerforce dual friction clutch, aluminum 5" balanced driveshaft, and 4.10s with 31 spline mosers. I'm almost decided on getting the Vortech base kit for 5.0s, which comes with an SC-trim supercharger, but only runs the kit at 5 psi. To run more, what do i have to get. I know that I need a bigger crank pulley, an ignition retard box (where can I get one and how much?) and a bigger fuel pump(how big) but what else? Should I get a better ignition? Thanx, and sorry about all the questions?

Yeah it is a great kit! The only other mod my car had over your was a Cobra intake and the car made 304RWHP and 347RWTQ with only 5psi. If you want more boost just get a 7" crank pulley, a bypass valve, and a BTM is optional. With ported heads, Steeda cam, and the 7” crank my car makes 8-9psi in warm weather and a little over 10 in the cold. You can use the plastic discharge tube with a Bosch 110 bypass and it works great. You will have about $50 in the Bosch valve and the hoses and connections. You will need to buy a bleeder valve for the FMU boost line to adjust the FMU. The FMU is made to work with 19lb injectors but with the bleeder you can make it work with your car. You will be fine with the 4.10 as long as you get some slicks for the track and "drive" the car, if not you will never get traction.
