| | | Cleaning the True Blue GT
Alright I am wondering what kind of paint cleaner and wax products anyone has used and been most successful.
I have been using Meguiars gold class wax and the scratch remover from them to clean the bugs of my front end. The car looks great when I am done, love they way it changes colors in sunlight, but my only complaint is that the car does not get the extra deep out of the car wash still wet look.
Maybe it is my technique I don't know I am just a Dumb White boy from Southern IL trying to keep my ride looking hella-sweet.
Thanks |

You've only posted 10 times in a year? Could you post a picture of your car with the Cobra front bumper, I've been thinking about doing that I use mothers wax, and in between waxes, I use the spray on wet wax. |

I never really had to post to many times I can usually find my answeres just looking around. I really like these forums.
And yes I will post a bigger pic of the cobra front end when I get home from work. Do you want one with or with out the wife in it?
I love the way it looks and my local paint guy did and excellent job matching the paint. A side not is that front end is cheaper than an OEM front end. I had some one hit and run and decided to go with this setup and saved money.
One last thing is the Mach 1 chin spoiler is not a perfect fit to the cobra front, like it is to the GT. But if you do it right it looks good. |

Thanks
No the Mach 1 chin spoiler wasn't to bad when you get it on a lift. The Gt front is flat all the way around on the bottom, while the Cobra front curvers after the corners. So it doesn't sit perfectly flush, but if do right you can't notice and it looks good. I am very happy I went ahead and put it on there.
Also the chin spoiler does sit back a little bit more that it would on a Gt front end.
Just a side not when ordering the Cobra front you have to order a different mustang emblem that bolts on the frame like the ones on 94-98. And the fog lamps were included when I purchased it from Ford. |

I use Duragloss and their products are advertised as "the Wet Look" and I am always very happy with the results. Their website is www.duragloss.com and you can find it at several stores, most notably NAPA and they've been around for years. I think you'll be impressed. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
