Need lots of true blue pics ASAP ! Post 'em up !

I am looking at painting my 68 True Blue. This is about to be a pretty expensive paint job, so I want to be sure -

-First off what do you guys think ?

-Second off please post up any all pics no matter what the weather conditions, or time of day. I want to see all the possible scenarios -

http://forums.stangnet.com/attachmen...chmentid=17911

I may add some silver, or gray stripes along the bottom of the doors too from tire to tire (GT-350 stripe)

I love this color. It can look black or in the sunlight it can look purple.

I will try and post a pic of the car in the sunlight tonight

Hey, thanks Decoy! Yup, that's definitely True Blue. I love the color but after washing it, it's hard to keep all the dust that settles on it from showing up. Do you have to deal with that too?

BTW, I love that front grille on your Stang. Looks sweet. Mind if I ask where you got it?

I was joking about the color, I know your car is true blue, it says it in your signature, and this is the true blue forum Anyways, it's just the mach 1 grille delete kit, I ordered it from www.karkraft.com for $49, really easy install, and looks alot better than the factory grille!

I've been thinking about getting the fuel door. I just wish the snow would melt so I could start getting into the car again. . .

I just installed a Pro-fit fuel door this week on my Stang. I like the look of the brushed aluminum against the True Blue background. Don't have any pics yet but will post some this weekend.

Love all these True Blue Stang pics being posted here.

Hey man,

I think true blue is too dark for your car, it will hide some of those beautiful lines. Maybe Sonic Blue? Or Mineral grey for something totally different.

Nah, it's just a manual non-locking model. Didn't see the need to spend the extra bucks for the same look, just to watch it pop out on its own. Here's their web site:

cool cool. ya the electric ones were quite expensive and i didn't see the need for one either. hey i saw on the 3rd pic you posted a black patch coming from out of the fuel door area. is that the fuel bib that they offer on their site? if so, how do you like it? is it easy to install, pretty much just push over and you are done?
