65straight- the amps have a clear plexiglass cover over them. Anytime I put something in the trunk, I have two carpeted inserts that protect the plexiglass from scratches.
cardude- I built the boxes with the subs pointing aft for looks. The sound is pretty much the same either direction. The kick panels are made from fiberglass, bondo, and vinyl. See
