I wouldn't pay $200 for a rear end that I have to spend a bunch of money getting cut down to fit in my car....but that is just me. I can find a 9" in a salvage yard for $100-150 any day I want if I don't care about width. You can order the size you need from Currie or Moser with the correct axles for about $700 or less and get a pumkin from a salvage yard for $50. You will have to get new axles if you have it cut down and they are about $300 and by the time you get the axle housing cut down (assuming they do it right) you are going to be real close to the cost of a Currie/Moser setup that you will know is right.
