I think I'll keep my stocker unless I get the giggle gas then I'll get that hurst T handle with the button on it. I think it is a personal prefrence though just get what ever feels good on your hand. I think most of the aftermarket knob for mustangs look cool you just gotta stay away from the ricey lookin ones from pep boys |

Fat knob on my Pro 5.0 in my 02. Available thru www.fatknobs.com or other places, such as www.mustangsunlimited.com which is where I got mine. I have the 2.25" black with white shift pattern, very cool, a bit noisy, quite old-schoolish. Quality piece with a locking jam nut to keep it from coming loose. Threaded brass sleeve insert screws onto just about any handle, Pro 5.0, Tri-Ax or stock. I have a couple pics I took the other day, I just need to upload them off the camera. Let me know if you'd like to see how it looks.
Steeda polished knob w/ black trim on my wife's Tri-Ax in her 01.

I have the satin-finished Bullitt aluminum shift knob that is factory installed in the current Mach 1 Mustangs. Cost me $36 delivered through eBay. It's a beautiful knob, for sure. |

I'm looking for a white shift knob with a red button on the side of it. I'm not going to juice my car but I think that would look good just for looks. |

My hand sometimes slips at the track using the bullitt knob. Last time at the track my hand slipped off and I hit the rev limiter, it slung my belt off my supercharger. |

With the stock leather knob on the triax in the lower position it looks hella cool because the stock knob screws in so deep the shifter looks like a little nub. |
