Thats my uncle's shop for his oil pumping business. He just put a lift in this summer so I've been sneaking my car up there whenever I work on it. |

We did have about an hour break in there, so I guess it was around 9 hours. We went slow and bagged and labeled all the bolts and wires the best we could since the car's going to be apart for several months. We changed the clutch last year so that made removing the transmission easier. Surprisingly, we never really got hung up on anything. We usually have a bolt freeze up or something and spend a couple hours on that one problem.

They shine with the car, which I like because 'most' black rims are dull looking. As a matter of fact they shine better then if they were powdercoated... |

Two question's 95 Laser GT Ver
Are those wheels Speed Star Racing (SSR) Integral GT1 forged
And what kinda lowering springs you use to lower front end, its lower than mine and I have 2" drop in fron and 2.5" in rear |

The rims are Nakayama Phantoms, I'm actually looking for new rims. I want to go with something wider in the rear and probably something with a lip on the rim. I like these but sometimes these remind me of rims from FWD imports.
The springs are H&R Supersports. The car measures 26.25"" to the top of the wheel arch all the way around, but I also have the rear isolators removed. |

Here's a shot of mine atm
She's missing a few things.....
But the good news is the new motor will be going in once the car is finished being repainted. The color will be the color we painted the engine bay, which is House of Kolor Shimerin Candy Basecoat Cobalt blue. Atm we are also redoing the interior, dying all the interior pieces black, and replacing the carpet from tan to black as well. She's basically getting an overhaul
Here's a shot of the DSS 331 longblock
and the shot of the goodie box going with it: |

| Aye, the decals are all going away with the new paint job, even the badges, going to go for a clean simple look.
The interior will be all black and some of the interior trim will have blue accents to match the exterior and the corbeau CR1 blue seats I have as well.
After all the time I wasted with the last fiasco I had with a builder, having to do it all over again but this time within my span of control makes me feel that waiting for a few more weeks (or even months) will make it worthwile.
Oh and yup those rebels I love they are 18x9 and 18x10s, with 265/35 18s and 285/35 18s - I think it will look even better with the cobalt blue | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
