If you ever had the chance to go east of California or LA, you'd realize what you're missing out on.

i'm in texas right now and on the way out from florida I got 31.0 mpg being the best so far (computer said 31.9, so it is not totally accurate) and backed up with 30.0 mpg (computer was 30.9)...my other tanks have been high 20's at fill up but have driving through towns on them tanks. I've owned the car for 3 weeks and have 3800 miles on it but it's a nice ride.

Went for a drive to check out a 94 MR2 turbo to add to my collection. About 220 mi R/T. At 65 mph is 24 mpg, at 79 it's 21.5 mpg. Last July I went to the track day for the annual North West Mustang Round Up weekend. On my last session I reset the milage and trip odometer. Results 20.2 mi at 8.3 mpg. That was 9 laps on the 2.25 mi track. Well worth the mpg sacrifice.

I've run four tanks through with the new size rear tires. My avg of the four is 21.3 MPG with mixed driving. My avg before was around 19.8. The reduction in RPMs has won against the weight gain.

280 mile trip - had about 20 miles of "city" driving. Car's computer says 25.2 mpg. I registered 16.7 mpg for the first ten miles before I got on the highway. I had the cruise control locked in at between 75 and 80 for about 90% of the trip, and around 80-85 for the rest. Although about 100 miles into the trip, I did decide to stand on it from about 70 to 110 mph and watched the avg mpg drop from 25.6 to 25.2 almost instantly!

Only mods are SLP LM's and K&N air filter.

around 10 in the city, with people making left turns, and people crossing the street when I'm trying to make a right turn. I also seem to catch every red light.

a highway trip, pretty flat road going anywhere 65 and 85 I got 23.2. There are only about 7600 on the odometer.

15 mpg
266 mile cruise range

At least thats what the readout has been telling me since I went over 1000 miles. Pretty consistant on the numbers now, and I always reset everything when I fill up.

Just made the return trip, and despite hitting about 45+ min of stop/go and slow traffic, I still got 26.5 MPG! Cruise was set at 75 whenever possible.

Gas Milage V6

In heavy stop & go 13/14, moderate stop & go 16 to 18, highway 24 to 26.
My car has no modifications other than a K & N air filter.
I do like it on the open road.

HA ....I must be a real moron lol, because I don't beat on my car or anything, but I am getting 18.7 right now. (I live in northern ohio where its 30-40 degrees right now). Thats from 70-80 mph Best I ever got was 22 in the summertime. .... I am putting in the cheap crap...should i step it up to 89 octane? I know the car would probably run better on it. Thanks

Adding a custom tune from either Brenspeed or Bamachips will help your car not only gain more power, but make it more fuel efficient as well. With my Brenspeed 93 octane tune, I'm getting within 1 MPG with the 4.10s as I was with the 3.31s and stock tune. I get right around 19-20 MPG with mixed "spirited" driving.
