Yup, I remember my dad telling me how they used to do it back in the day with a hypodermic needle in a water jug and a vacuum line. Hell, he’s been running that type of set up on his 5.0L Ranger for about the last 3-4 years now. Companies like Snow and Mr. Freeze have more or less just refined the deliver system since then.

it's a good system and it works, a nice alternative to nitrous + boost

Anyone have any long term experience with this kit? Does it cause problems with the impeller?

Spraying pre blower will in no way damage the impeller. That rumor was started on the net by retards that know absolutly nothing about meth/water injection. Then spread across the net by lazy people that read what these retards write on forums instead of doing the proper research them self.

I have been spraying 100% meth into my blower for about a year now with absolutly no ill efects. I am even running a blow thru setup. I also spray 2 more nozzles pre throttle body. I would never strap a mr freeze or snow kit to my car. When sprayed pre blower the nozzle has to be small enough to make the droplets evaporate before leaving the blower. Droplets that small do no damage.

Look over on the corral in the supercharger section there is a thread about this and pics of impellers.

I don't have any proof either way with meth injection damaging the impellers, but I have an idea of where that concept came from. In steam power plants, the blades are spinning extremely fast and any wate droplets or any solid material other than steam can damage the turbine blades. At those speeds water will act like sand and will pit the blades. If injecting meth or water before the blower without atomizing small enough, might damage the blades, but I don't have any evidence of that just the theory of why it might happen, if it happens.
