FRPP Superchargers

Does anyone have ford racing 6psi superchargers on their 5.0? How are they? Since its only 6psi i shouldn't have to upgrade the fuel system right? I have about 2400 to spend and I would rather go supercharged than HCI. If I get the kit, other than exhaust what other mods would be needed?

look for a used s/c kit on the corral or somethin and get any other pieces you'd need, then a dyno tune.....or you could go with h/c/i.....i always think an all motor car is more badass than a power adder car...but thats just my thing

I believe the Ford Racing superchargers are simply Powerdyne units, sold as a kit with Ford's name on it. Also, even if you only add 6 PSI, you are probably still looking at upgrading your fuel system so not to run lean. I wouldn't buy that kit, but instead build up my engine for the money. H/C/I can put you at similar type performance levels, and like said above, I am impartial to motor combo's as well.

You can get a S-Trim BRAND NEW for under $2400, forget that Powerdyne.

Ya, New Powerdynes can be found for less than 2k. Same product, just without the Ford Racing name on it...

AFR 165's/Crane cam/95 Cobra Intake = :worship:

If you are set on the blower, I would also give the S-Trim my vote.
