| | | Remember my video when i break tranny , here is rematch against that 69 Camaro
Well it happen in Germany once again
A few months ago guy with 69 Camaro wanted me to race
He have 350 bored out i think 60 over, and someo ther stuff
So we went and race , in that race i broke 3rd gear and i still won that race
But he was talkin s*it how he beat mewhen i broke T5
Since i got my TKO500 i was looking for him and finaly one night he stop by on our favorite hang out spots
I asked him toline uponce again and he all happy says yes
But he said i can't lower tire pressure in my Nitto DRs like i did last year , i was ok (i had 32psi of airin them and they are bold big time)
So we line up ,launceh lower than i did last race a few months ago spun soo bad but still kill him off the line
Didn't powershift on anything ,still getting use to it , and that 3rd gear is little bit hard because you can't just shift in 3rd gear only push forward from 2ns , but i'm scared to put in 1st
Beat him 4 cars
I was like this car runs better than last time
So we turn around and he wanted one from roll , it was 35 roll , i smoked him 4-5 cars again
And i had to do 3rd race because 1st race didn't looks good on video
I launched on same rpms like before ,spun soo bad that i had lift off more than in any other race ,shift little faster
This times i beat him so bad watch video
Later that night he told me he installed some heads and cam since last time
I was like thats why now you can lit them up , lol
But at the end he give me props on race which is cool Click here to see Video

Old Camaros are cool but Carbed small blocks suck...
I have a pretty built 1988 Camaro (10:1 350 blah blah blah) and it was still slow. I'm sure the motor had decent power but it wasn't very fast. It would beat your average GT's and whatnot but still not that impressive. Carbs suck to,. |

I had a '83 Z-28 with a '69 Corvette 327 and a 5 speed, and yea, it was a a quick car .. but nothing like my '95 fuel injected 5.0.
No small block will ever out perform a fuel injected 5.0 (imo)
Nice whoopin' got laid on that Camaro though .... sweet |

Nice whoopin' got laid on that Camaro though .... sweet | please do not open a can of worms. you are about to get the old schoolers in here to tell you about their 300 different carbed cars when they were 17 with 18000 hp a piece. its all in how you build it.. plain and simple.
ps- carbs arent my ideal application (aka they suck) |

ps- carbs arent my ideal application (aka they suck) | Actually, I am an "old schooler". I grew up driving Chevelles, Cudas and a host of 70s Detroit iron. I love a four barreled big block with a four speed, they are like nothing else in the world (IMO).
Fact is though, if you want to race on weekends and still get decent gas mileage and dependability, you need to go with fuel injection.
Emissions standards and unleaded gas have all but destroyed the idea of daily driving a "true" muscle car. So what do we do? Let our passion for cars die? Nope, we adapt and overcome, and accept fuel injection technology, and all it's benefits. |

As for Carbs vs EFI , carb may make some high rpms power ,but it will never be tunned like EFI

My goal when the '95 is done, is to build a '84 LX with a stroked out small block and a carb. lots of power to be had in a carb, you just have to know the right person to tune the car... |
