Arrow Remember when we used to...oh look, it's a butterfly!

Hey Whats up everyone ?.. my name is Steve, and im from taylor, mi.. i am new to the site and am Glad i found it.. seasons almost over and the garage is ready for another MI, winter... So im Glad i Have a Support Group here to keep me sane until next spring. let me tell you a little bit about myself, well mostly My Car.. I just Bought it about a month and a half ago,I paid $5,500 it and i think i got my moneys worth out of it,its a 1990 Ford mustang Gt..76K original miles, it has a few addons/mods.. <<< GT40heads, Holley intake, 75mmTB, 3core-aluim rad, Custom elc Fan, Board .030+, MSD ignition, 4lug SWAP to 5.. (not to be mean cuz i kno 90% of ppl have them.. i Dont."cobra R") polished aluim SVT Rims, Flow master X-pipe, cobra Brakes all around, as well as Disc, LX tail lights, 3:73 onthe rear, new suspention all around, Micky thompson street slicks on the rear, racing clutch, and a short throw ****er.>>> it had a Vortec Blower on it.. when i test drove it, i had it side ways in 3rd.. i dont want to sound like a wuss or a loser, im honest.. this is my first Fast Car and the blower i wasnt ready for so i had him take it out.. However i will add it back in When i think im ready.. and after some practice at the Track.. this car is still Fast, im not sure now but it had 460h/p with the Blower, so minus that and add afew i think im somwhere in the 360/390 h/p Range.. i will say i miss that whistle sound it used to Have, that turned some heads..LOL.. but the inside of the car is all original red.. CLEAN too A+... Out side wasnt to Bad, original paint Which i Detailed myself to Bring Brack the New Car look.. All and all its a Really nice Car and im Glad I Bought into the Mustang World OF Speed.. Thanks For taking the Time to Read This and if u wanna know more about me or my car ill Be Happy to brag about it.. oops i mean talk about it.. lol just happy i got one after 9years of wanting one..

Welcome to , 5500 is a good deal for that especially with the blower, give it a few months (weeks) and it will be back on.

LOL.. yeah the guy i bought it off of told me about this site and i am on another one too but this one is more upto speed with alot off ppl from all over.. i just read your reply to the gt40 block and i thought the gt40 was Way better then Stock performance wise anyways... thanks for the reply and im sure will be Chating alot.. Yeah i might have it back on over the winter.. but ive never had a 5spd b4 either and with the blower and the speed it was just to much to have all at once...

The gt40 crate motor is better performance wise, they usually come with x303 aluminum heads which are much better then stock, its just the block and internals arent much stronger.

atleast you had the smarts to take the blower off cause you felt "not ready" for it. alot of guys who have never driven something like that get cocky as soon as they get something with lot's of power when they aren't used to it than wreck a nice car or get hurt....or worse.

Nice looking GT.....I love the 99 Cobra wheels.
Very smart of you to ditch the blower until you feel comfortable with the car and some serious power.

Welcome aboard

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. I was just down in the Taylor area last night - Half Time Bar. You can't beat their 1/2 lb cheesburger for $0.95. I'm not far from you in Canton.

Oh, and by the way, if you dont know much about thread hijacking / derailing, you might want to watch for threads that go completely in another direction from where they started... a good read: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=661960
