Last year I did a tune-up on my daughters mustang, plugs, wires and rear brake pads; also had the trans fluid changed. Some time after this the odometer stopped working, speedo still works. Any info on what powers the odometer and/or what would cause this? Obviously not speedo cable directly. Thanks, Nelson

I'm assuming the '98 is still mechanical and not digital like my '01 was. My '95's stopped working last month, and I've been meaning to get the gear for it.

I just replaced mine yesterday. The gear came in about 4 days after I ordered it.
