Just towards my daughters college fund, I spent all this time and $$ on the car. She deserves everything and will get it!

chris, my prayers are with you for your loss. if i may, i would like to suggest that you place your car in the corner of the garage and put a car cover over it. right now everything is emotional. hastily decisions should not be made. wait at least 3 or more months and revisit the idea to sell at that time. we are all guilty of spending more than we should. hopefully, there is insurance involved with coverage limits that will help to offset "some" of your loss. you will always love your kids and wife. involve them in the remaining decision making process. i think they would say....STOP....do not sale. if there is insurance, most insurance companys may offer plans called "structured settlements" which call for a portion of any settlement to be made at a later date....such as when a child turns a certain age {and must be approved by a judge as it involves a minor}. this could go toward a college fund. while i do not know your situation, or the facts of your loss. this is just another opinion i would like you to review. please do not sell unless you feel your present financial situation warrants it. while my post count is not the highest, i do use the forums, your car and several others in the modeling of my own. my deepest sympathies.

I was going to say something to that effect (above) but I thought that would sound kinda "car-selfish". Greg94 stated nicely what I was thinking, so I would just agree to "let it sit" while you have time to TRULY decide the entire Situation, both short and long-term.

I tried to IM you yesterday when you were online...Just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you.!!!

Thanks
RC

I am praying and will continue to pray for you and your family. Such an ugly situation, I hope you are able to find some peace when the time is right.

I am so sorry to hear about you and your family man. My fiance and I are about to have our first child in january and having my cobra scares me after reading this. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

God bless you and your family. I am a new father with one year old. Seeing the memorial website bought tears to my eyes. I don't know you or your family but after reading the memorial I mourn as if I did. God bless and stay strong.

Thank you for visiting Jenna's page!

My oldest daughter Hayley is doing great, she was in a wheelchair for sometime...but is walking again and has even had all 4 rods removed from her leg.

She is in special ed at school, but doing amazing! She is my miracle!

My Prayers are for Hayley she is indeed a miracle, she must give the family the strenghth to go on. I have a 9 year old son and a 17 year old daughter, my wife lost a baby near the end of her pregnancy we had a burial and its something that stays with me forever with tears im typing. But not personally knowing you its tough for me to say this without sounding selfish or insensative the above idea about holding onto your car for awhile is something i would personaly do im the kind of person that after a disaster i need to hold onto everything as i go on, life is tough enough you have been thru enough take some time GOD BLESS
