Suggested changes: Felpro Parts! 1011-1 or -2 Head gaskets, without Exhaust port work use the stock O/H exh. gaskets. Intake gaskets use the Felpro 1250, even with mild port work. 90% of the after market heads are the 1250 gasket also. NO NEED for the hardened Pushrods.. the stock are pretty much bullet proof!! and will carry a lot of spring pressure! Con rod bolt torque is 25 ft lbs.. check your tech, cool?
Camshaft.. you can gain HP and Torque, by changing the cam phasing.. Advance that stock cam in 4* and you will be amazed!! too much low end ( never enough in my book..!!) retard the stock cam 2*.
Just a few thoughts.. looks like 3 days schedule is a good time..

Thanks for the reply Thumper
I need to address a few things:
Hardened pushrods are recommended for stud-mounted rockers due to the guideplates. You are more than likely, with an aftermarkeet h/c/i swap, going to need different size pushrods anyways. Stock is typically not an option, so get a new size and hardened, especially with stud-mounted rockers. Wouldn't want to bend one...
The H/C/I swap above is more denoted towards an aftermarket swap, not reusing the heads/cam/intake that were installed from the factory. Thanks again.
