From the stories I've heard....he used to be a real dick. He's a step-dad, but treats the kids great. Used to be a wild wild man...but has calmed down greatly. I think he's just learned from years and years of marriage, its not worth the fight sometimes.

But every time we go outside to smoke together, I just look at him and say "this sucks", and he just says, "yep".

Doc:

I got one on ya...

My wife is 5 months pregnant, we are going to San Jose (about 8 1/2 hours away) to celebrate her great aunt's 90th birthday. I will be leaving work on Friday, driving to San Jose in my In-laws car (My mother in law does not want me to speed at all ) with my In-laws.We will be staying with her grandparents sleeping on a twin bed in a dry house (No alcohol at all) in a room right next to my Father in law, who snores so loud the doors literally rattle. We will have the party Saturday, and leave Sunday morning to get back home for work on Monday.

It could be worse... at least your at home and you get to drink beer!!!

Beer will fix it all.

I don't know why I even worry about everything going smoothly and all. If this doesn't make up and prove my love for my wife despite all those other comments about boobies and orgies...I don't know what will.

90 year old ladies B'day party! Good times....good times!!!

She's 90. What kind of gift can you possably get her? A gun to kill herself with. I hate it when people dress old people with party hats like little kids for their birthdays. The whole time they sit there with that kill me god look on their face.

Its always funny watching people treat old people like they're stupid and deaf.....I just sit and wait for them to get whacked in the head with a cane.

I just sent my wife a text message that said "shoot me". She called me back and asked what was going on at work that was stressing me out. I just told her.....work is great....nice and quiet.

I laid down the law a little, in a nice way, that I would not be going home to cook everyone dinner.....and that I would be stopping for a 6'er on the way home. All she had to say was don't drink all 6 before I go get everyone's dinner!

You should steal one of her families air mattresses and take it to your office and say you have to work overtime this weekend.

Both great suggestions. But considering her parents let us crash in their guest room every time we go down there, which is every few months.....I gotta show them at least that much respect. Its just all the sisters and kids! AAAHHH!!!

If I wanted 5 kids running around my house, I'd marry a couple more women.

referr to the bug out bag thread.

I would take 3 days of crapping in the woods, rather than deal with what you have to.

My postal mood must have been picked up by the family. My wife just left me a message saying her mom and sister went to the store and bought some stuff and they're going to make dinner tonight.

Damn right! I am the KING of this castle.

Damn...

I just hit my knee on my desk and it's already swelling. It looks like i'll be driving with a sore swollen knee for 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 hours each way

Though I hurt myself doing a desk job , I didn't call the cops on myself this morning

That's when you go out for a "loaf of bread" and come back 5 hours later saying how you got lost.
