HI EVERYONE, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHEN FORD IS GOING TO START BUILDING THE 2008 SHELBYS AGAIN.I ORDERED ONE ON 07-07-07 AND I CALLED THE DEALER YESTERDAY TO SEE IF THEY HAD A BUILD DATE AND THEY HAD NO INFO ON THEM YET. THANKS FOR ANY INFO DAVE.

The 2008 GT-500s are already shipping,Picked my Alloy up 7/28/07,I saw the serial number just before mine on ebay which was serial number (mustang) 000587 as mine is 000588,Makes me wonder how many they build at a time since the 2 numbers were consecutive.The add on ebay said it was one of the first 8 on the ground.

thanks alloy snake.my dealer said that the first run of 2008's have all ready been built and they have no idea when they are going to start the second run please keep me informed if you hear anything thanks dave p.s. i ordered black with dark alloy stripes.

Congrats on your 08 man. I have been looking around here and because of the 08 model the stealerships are marking them up again.
