Corsa Exhaust

I think I've decided on the Corsa Mufflers. They sounded the best to me and I can run down to Jegs to get them.

Corsa's site also had a video of a black GT with them on it. I think they sounds great.

There not bad, I much prefer the deeper tone of the Borla's but that's just my personal preference.

PS the car in the second link has other exhaust mods alone with the Corsa's so it's going to sound a lot different then just the Axle-backs.

I found the Corsas too quiet although they don't drone at all and are quality items but they weigh a ton.

I may be wavering in my decision after hearing the borla cat back exhaust. they sound great.

The Borla’s, or FRPP Stingers, sound great but if drone bothers you then don’t get them because they have about the worst drone of any of the setups.

Actually, in my opinion, the MAC beats the borla and stingers in drone! Removed those puppies from my ride pronto!

I thought my CORSAs were too quiet too - until I stood along the road and had my son take off in my '06 GT and nail it through the gears to redline. OMG, they scream at WOT. I love them.

Yes, I should say that as mine is supercharged, they weren't loud enough where they needed to be loud ie when I could hear them. They are good on WOT but a bit tame in the lower reaches. I actually had a set of mufflers custom-made and they are much lighter than the Corsas and practically zero drone on those too. Go figure.

Corsas

Yea, the supercharger takes a whole lot of energy, hence noise, out of the exhaust. It makes sense they were not loud enough. Oh, wait a minute, you said supercharged - I was thinking turbocharged. Never mind!

They sound stock-ish at idle, they sound mean as hell as at WOT.

Comments I've gorren from people....

"Sounds like the old glass packs from the 60s"

"Sounds like the old Cherry Bombs from the old days"

"Sounds like it's out of tune"

"Sounds like a tug boat idling in a harbor"

"That is INSANE sounding."
