Question Anyone put a GT500 on a diet?

I am considering selling my Lotus Exige and moving back to some American muscle. I have had fun over the last few years with an M3 and a Lotus Exige. The Lotus is light and great handling car and I want to setup a GT500 for autocross and track days. Anyone here know how to effectively improve performance and handling by dropping weight? This would still be a daily driver so I can't rip out everything...just looking for some tips on worthless junk that can be removed!

Matt

the easy thing to do is take out the back seats, put carbon fiber hood on.

No need to drop weight. Those cars are so powerful and handle great already. My Dad has one and I woudln't change a thing on it. Although if you want better, 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords put every aftermarket suspension part available on one and they got improved results.
