good deal....?
i'm looking for a 2.3T donor and found an 86 TC for $1K. it needs a head gasket. would this even be worth my time? or should i just look for a motor by itself? the car looks to be in pretty good shape. from pictures anyway.

Why not just keep the TC, replace the head gasket and run it?

I hate to see one parted if it's in good shape.
