Hello Mid-West,

I will be soon joining the ranks of the Mid-West. Specifically Bloomington,IL. I will be coming from South Carolina <----Not a Redneck and I'm curious about the emissions testing in IL. I just came back today from getting my apartment and I didn't notice stickers in the windows of some local's cars. I have a full MAC o/r exhaust setup on my car and was wondering if I better get to doing something about it or grace IL with the beautiful sound of a 4.6L. Thanks in advance for any help and hopefully I can get together with some gear heads out that way and make some friends.

OBDII test is all. If it was a 95 or older you wouldn't have any test.

I'm not sure if Bloomington is tested or not, I'm up by the Chicago market so of course we get our yearly plug ins.

i was told that mt.vernon illinois is testing now but down here in the armpit of illinois we still belch oil and run our cars rich with no cats. if they ever test here then the roads will empty! on a side note, i have a buddy that spits his time between here and bloomington and loves it there.
