Newbie to this site, but not to mustangs. I am about to attempt a 2001 IRS swap into a 1988 4cyl coupe, and before i get to deep into it i would like to hear from anyone who has done it and successfully accomplished this feat. someone who can give me feedback and how too and don't do. Or just links in here about the work.
As far as parts that i have is the is the complete cobra rear cradle and rear end from caliper to caliper. It has full polyurethane bushings 4:56 gears cradle stiffeners. I know i need to get the flex brake line and maybe the rear E-brake cable, but what do i need from here.
i have the car hoisted in the air and it looks like it mite not work? I have seen this done but it dose not go into grate detail. i don't want to take the car apart if it don't work.
It is not a question about doing the job I can do it , but it's about doing it right and safe. So if anyone has detailed pictures and advice would be greatly appreciated
