Griggs Racing Mustangs had some of the fastest times at the Ultimate Track Car Challenge last month. The main car Griggs was showing off was the red 2008 GR40TT below, which was quick as hell despite the fact that it's a street legal car with a full interior, AC, stereo, etc. The fastest Griggs Mustang was a 1998 GR40, which had the third best time of the day with Ernesto Roco behind the wheel (sadly, this car got wrecked). A 2004 GR40 driven by Darrel Anderson placed fourth in Independent Varsity. John Griggs also produced some very respectable lap times in a 1998 GR40 Cobra convertible (you can see the official results at Grassroots Motorsports). And a newer black Shelby GT500 that had undergone the Griggs treatment was just kind of hanging out and looking good. I have a ton of pics after the jump.

who else wouldn't be able to love these cars? oh well, whether on the race track or on the street, the best way to observe the sleek lines of a Porsche is as it disappears in the rear view mirror of a Griggs Racing GR40 Mustang.

Awesome bud thanks for the pictures, I've been wondering if the 98 was running a aftercooler or a a/a cooler. It's much appriecated.
