rim cleaner?

my front rims are NASTY.

ive tried scrubing with a wash mit and soap. I even tried some hot rims cleaner. I think that its embeded brake dust. could i use something like soft scrub (liquid with a mild abrasive) to scrub them?

These are a set of stock pony five stars.

my camera is being a butt! Its like a coppery looking haze on the rim.

Sounds like you've got chrome rims and the plating is wearing off -- exposing the copper plate below it.

no they are the stockers, i took some egale one cleaner to them and got the worst of it off.
