i have a 90 mustang 5.0 and cant find any info on what the engine rpm should be set at while at idle. my factory tach is stuck at 1500 rpm so I bought a dash mounted one. the guy i bought the car from had the timing all screwed up and it seems to idle high now that i adjusted the timing. once I hook up my new tach, where should the idle rpm be set? is that with the spout conector unpluged? thank for any and all help.
