Thumbs up HELP a tightwad out

I am looking for a single "pony wheel" center cap in decent shape, silver color, with the chrome horse. Some morroooon put 2 caps with gold ponys on one side of the car I bought, but I have found one additional chrome pony in the hatch. Anyways, I would be looking to trade my 2 gold pony centers for 1 chrome pony center. The centers are all silver in color, just the pony is differant. Damn, I hope all this is clear. I can post pics if anyone is interested in the trade. Thanks.

You could always try removing the gold from the ponies. I'm sure they didn't come like that. Someone probably took some of that fancy gold spray paint commonly used on lowriders and such (24k Gold would be a brand I'd suspect) and sprayed it with that. Maybe try rubbing it with some mineral spirits (paint thinner) and see if it comes off. Might take a bit of rubbin', but I'm sure it'll come off.

Otherwise ... spray it with fake chrome?

I would have to do some digging, but I think I have a couple of the chrome ones stashed somewhere. If that removing the gold trick dosent work, pm me and I'll see what I can do.
