97 F150 battery cable

Anyone know where to get a positive battery cable for a 97 F150?

An aftermarket cable has not been made as it goes to the firewall and several other places before going to the starter. Went to the local Ford dealer today and they weren't too helpful, although I've gotten one there before several years ago. Will probably have to check some dealers further away.

Apparently this cable was only made for a short time, its for a 1997 F150 4x4 supercab with a Romeo (6 Vin) 4.6 V8. The truck was made in 6/96 and apparently there were some changes made in 8/96.

Any salvage yards in your area have it by chance?

You could also try here: Car-Part.com.

Will be calling around tomorrow. Tried car parts, had to do a quote since that exact part is not listed. Battery and starter but no cable.

Trying to find battery cable parts on-line as well, if I could get a copper pc like what broke I could possibly repair the old cable.

Called another Ford dealer today and they have hooked me up with one. Had to order it though and won't be in until Monday. In the meantime got another starter and put it in so all I have to do is run the new cable. I've even got the battery charging up.

MY cables are corroded on my 97F150. Our shop trucks cables also took a dump. I found new assemblies at the dealer for about 175 bucks.
