Looking for a good shop to install some 4.10's. I called Ray Skillman and Andy Mohr ford but they both said close to $1000.00. Thats for parts and labor but, DAMN. Any suggestions from anyone whos had it done around Indy would be appreciated.

Posted via Mobile Device I dont know what part of Indy you are in ,but if you would drive 45 minutes east on I70 to New Castle you could get it done for around $500. Parts AND labor. OLSON RACE CARS. Or you get the parts and i know a little shop in town that installs for $125.00-$150.00 .

Thanks for the reply Leroy. Im in Avon just west of Indy. Did you have your gears installed by one of the 2 shops you suggested. Im hip to New Castle and dont mind making a little trip to get a proffesional install. Whats the name of the little shop in town you mentioned.
Thanks again

Posted via Mobile Device Latham Brothers Garage. It is a little dumpy looking shop with two badass mechanics! Both big hillbillies but do great work, fairly cheap. They have done atleast 10 sets of gears for me and alot of other odds and ends. All my clutch installs also. Be worth your drive in my opinion

Thanks Leroy,

Two Hillbillies garage sounds like my kinda shop. I think Ill carry the gears and a case of beer in and see if they will let me hang in the bay while they do the swap.

Thanks again
