San Diego 'stangs with manual steering...

I'm looking for someone in San Diego that has a flaming river manual rack. I'm considering one but I'd really like to see how tough 0 mph steering is (i do a lot of 'pre-turning' u-turns and I like my car to have some ease to it). So, I was wondering if someone with a Flaming River manual rack could meet with me so I could check it out... PM me! thanks

I'm not in san diego, But I can assure you, the manual rack is far superior than trying to steer a power rack with no p/s pump. I did the cheap mans manual steering where I drained the rack and took the pump and all the associated chit off. It was manageable but hard. With my flaming river rack, I'd say it is at least HALF as hard as the poor mans method, but only 1/4 harder than a power rack. I know it is not "feeling" it, but I hope this helps.
