Are you seriously saying that Wart, Poboys, Jikelly, and Therian are afraid to throw fuel on a fire? Give me a break.

They must have some really controversial reasons for supporting him then.

Maybe that's because MOST Americans don't support terrorists? Or even candidates with KNOWN terrorist affilliations?

However, I STILL haven't heard ONE positive thing about Obama, even from the liberals who claim they're going to vote for him.

So sad.

the reality is that the liberals have to reason to vote FOR obama, just reasons to vote AGAINST mccain. and those reason are weak at best. yes obama says he is for change, but what change is he talking about? higher taxes? more huge government spending programs? nationalizing business? ruining the economy? getting rid of corruption(he doesnt even want to do that!!)? in the end obama is just another tax and spend liberal who thinks that even though everything he wants has been tried, and failed, in the past, only failed because HE wasnt the one that tried the programs. he is arrogant and decitful. he cant say what he really wants to say otherwise he wouldnt get but a few votes in the general election.

There is a lot more Obama supporters on here than what you think but they chose not to argue.

I am not even going to go there!

Plenty of people like you supported a terrorist for almost the last 8 years!

This is the second post on the thread that is pure speculation and nothing to do with the title.

I am voting for McCain because:

1. His experience is far greater.
2. I can pronounce his name.
3. He has NO questionable muslim ties.
4. His agenda is NOT to tax the middle class even more and squeeze them out.
5. His name does not sound like a dictator or terrorist (think about it - profiling DOES work).
6. His VP Candidate is not a screwball.
7. His wife is not prejudice with a prejudice agenda.
8. He surrounds himself with competent people that are not racists.

I originally thought Obama would be great as President. Really sounded like he could do this country some good.

However that opinion has changed in the last couple months, to be honest.

For one, oil company windfall taxes are just plain stupid.

And two, nationalized healthcare is a can of worms that I don't think should be opened. Sounds great on paper, doesn't work that well in real life. Just look at Canada. How about some sort of nationalized insurance instead?

You're saying Bush is a terrorist? That's hilarious. So because you don't like him or agree with his policies...he's a terrorist.

I hope this guy's joking, otherwise I'm not going to be able to take him seriously in the future.

Agreed. What he doesn't get is that terrorists TARGET innocent civilians. Our country does not. GET IT STRAIGHT.

All these fight club topics crack me up I read most of them but usually don’t post anything on topic or productive at all hey its just the interwebz its irrelevant to the real world; most of us on SN are voting A or B simply. Nothing will change that. Do liberals or conservatives really think their candidate is going to fix things, maybe some truly believe that. Also a lot of people on here think one candidate is the devil or a freaking bush zealot. That’s also possible minus the devil thing, nothing rational is impossible.

The most important issue in my opinion by far is the economy..hmm how will either candidate change monetary policy and the socialist ways of our government that caused our current mess. Anyone with some knowledge of economics has a little idea of what could happen to our country. I won’t sway any votes from the part 3 bush regime or the change man himself (joke) but trying and failing and not trying at all are not the same. Even though in the end the same results occur.

I think us voters need to do some research on new ideas and our current state of the economy. Ya American idol and all that crap are super kewl but a depression isn’t. I think us citizens that know a little something should educate or preach to the ignorant sheep that might possibly vote. I would say most of the stangnet fight club regulars are very intelligent to the issues of America, maybe instead of bickering amongst ourselves we talk to the dumb friends, or the people around us at Wal-Mart’s long ass lines. On the safe side we can hide behind our monitors and act super smart and tuff it’s not my style though.
