effective changes?

do changes made with the tweecer become effective immediately or are some heat cycles required?seems as though some do and some do not!

They'll be instant. If you're wanting the adaptive learning tables to build then those will take a little while.

i made some changes to my converter lockup but they are only effective if i manually shift.if i leave it in drive they are no different.the changes were to lock the converter earlier in second gear at wot.
